The posters and banners listed here today vary from uncommon to very rare. Every one of them is in great shape too. We also have a bunch of figures listed and most of the auctions are complete sets. Silent Hill “I’m Alone There Now…” Poster (Limited 300) - The complete title for this piece is “I’m Alone There Now, In Our Special Place, Waiting for You” and I’m sure every Silent Hill fan remembers those haunting words. A few offers have already been made.

Final Fantasy VII Store Poster - This poster showing the release date for Final Fantasy VII is in great condition. It’s double sided and the color is a deep as it was day one.

Space Channel 5 Figures, Complete Set - Unless you’re a fan of the games, you probably wouldn’t think of Space Channel 5 when thinking of figures based on video games. This auction is for the complete set of figures and the resin statue as well. All figures are sealed.

Resident Evil 1 Figures, Complete Set - The complete set, sealed of course, comes in 5 packs but there are actually 9 figures total.  The Tyrant figure was made so huge that it needed a blister pack unique from the rest.

Resident Evil 2 Figures, Complete Set - Another sealed complete set. This time, 7 packs containing 12 figures. Very cool stuff from my favorite in the series.

Metal Gear Solid Snake & Meryl Figures - Fairly common, but the price is decent. The box is still factory sealed.

Super Mario RPG Vinyl Banner - Vinyl banners sometimes be made in a cheap run which leaves them open to easy damage. If you make the winning bid, try not to roll and unroll the banner too often.

Mario Kart 64 Vinyl Banner - Another banner that is taking bids. This one comes with the shipping box and hanging instructions.

I thought I’d throw this out there in case anyone was interested in this. It’s the Resident Evil: Code Veronica music box, and yes it is official. If you’re new to this site have a look at the Top 10 Resident Evil Collectibles as this is number 3 on the list. If someone does buy it for the asking price it will surpass the covenant keys. The music box is quite expensive, and it’s twice the price of the last music box that appeared on eBay.

I guess whats more disappointing than the price is that the seller can’t shed any light on this rare gem. It’s too bad because most of the rarest video game collectibles never seem to have enough info on them when they do surface.

Good morning VGA readers. It’s a cold day but all the reason to play games and watch movies. Scrolling through the Xbox market place there are plenty of titles to choose from, I’m eying a few for tonight . With the Christmas season escaping us, and the new year right around the corner it leaves us with interesting video game auctions on eBay simply because it’s a weird time to list anything. Sure you’ll have cool auctions but personally I don’t even feel like taking out the trash. The beauty of eBay is that we’re always left with surprises of cool auctions like the recent Final Fantasy VII Aeris Music Box (which for sure didn’t sell and the seller kept it, I just want to stress on that) which was listed before Christmas. First of all that is the worst time to capitalize on potential profits, it’s a hard time to make sales in any industry. The optimal times to sell something like that would be March to May or August to November. Anyone reading this with an Aeris Music Box (I know it’s Aerith but in Japan it was Aeris and it reads Aeris on the Music Box), list it in that month frame OR you can email me personally and ask if I am interest

Video Game Auctions:

- Replica Nintendo NES Controller Coffee Table - A really cool coffee table to have in your room. I would love to have this by the fireplace. Shipping would burn my wallet though so it’s too bad it’s not close to me.

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Hyperstone Signed – Signed by the co-creator Kevin Eastman. He drew a sketch of a Ninja Turtle on the cover.

- Halo 3 Limited Edition Signed Mylar Print “Ark Storm” Isaac Hannaford - This is number 98/500. I’m a big Halo fan and it will be consider a top Shooter forever, although I don’t know if it beats Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, it sure has a gameplay that many gamers can agree is exciting.

- ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM CD SOUNDTRACK 4 DISC - It’s signed by the composer Jeremey Soule. What’s interesting is that Jeremy Soule and his brother composed the tracks for Secret of Evermore which you can listen to here.  Pretty cool to have his autograph if you’re a fan of Squaresoft music.

- 7ft Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Dovahkiin Statue – This is #250 out of 400 made world wide. I’m not a big Skyrim fan because I love shooters but this is amazing from what I hear. A lot of Skyrim fans out there that would love this in their room.

- Chrono Trigger Final Fantasy 3 and more RARE VIDPRO cards – These were being sold at one point for around $15-$30 each and sometimes would go higher depending on when it was listed. He must have paid a good $300 in total for these, but he is asking for a much higher price.

- 3 VGA Nes Sealed Games – These are 3 odd titles to have sealed and in your collection.

- Playstation Ps1 Game Lot – You have a ton of great titles in here like Suikoden II, Dragon Warrior VII, Castlevania Symphony of the Night etc… For $300 beans it might not be bad at all.

- Biohazard Stamp Collection 2006 - It’s being sold at $250 which is an alright price considering that it doesn’t show up and I’ve seen it being sold for more than $250.

- RARE NES NINTENDO PRE-RELEASE 1.0 ADVANCE COPY DAVID CRANES A BOY & HIS BLOB 89 – This is interesting as it’s not a proto-type but a pre-release which I haven’t seen before.

Seller crimson_chameleon has a bunch of video game auctions consiting of vintage Nintendo/Sega pins on eBay. I know that there’s not many vg pin collectors out there, but for the rest of us I’m pretty sure we can all find some appreciation in these vintage pins. I mean just the 1990 Mario pin is awesome!

These don’t come cheap though, and there’s already $10 bids on some of the pins so there is plenty of interest out there. The seller has a variety of video game pins from Nintendo and Sega with a few odd balls. Square Enix Members Tetsuya Nomura Art Print – Seller says: “Rare Art print, you could only get this by wining the square enix members giveaway. They gave away 10 total art prints, but you could chose one of 8 or so diffrent ones. I chose this one. If your a fan of Tetsuya Nomura This the only one ever sold on ebay and most likely going to be the last one. it has never been hung up its still in the plastic like the day i got it. The only defect is the hole in the plastic. that opened to get the letter out. You will get the art print, and the letter.”
Playstation 2 E3 Promo Folder – Seller says: “You are buying a very rare item, which was distributed at E3 2000 before the release of Playstation 2, had a limited amount of that item avaliable, besides the folder there are many information about the console release, their first games listed separated by producers, and even contacts of the studios”.
Resident Evil Suitcase – This was sold during the 5th Anniversary of the game. The auction is just for a suitcase (thats dented), and it’s missing all of the accessories/games that came with it originally. Today’s post will be short, but I want to thank all of our readers who’ve been sumbitting auctions to VGA. It’s greatly appreciated and right now the tam is quite busy and can’t do our regular searches so it helps out a lot!

We have two submissions today. First auction is submitted by PJ (thanks!!) and it’s for  a Skyrim Original Game Soundtrack. Now you might be thinking whats the big deal. Well, the Skyrim Soundtrack isn’t as easy to find as you might think ; there’s only two on eBay and this ones the cheaper out of the two.  Secondly, the soundtrack was composed by Jeremy Soule. Ring a bell? Well those who are really into video game soundtracks like me will know that Jeremy Soule composed the soundtrack for the oh-so-great Secret of Evermore on the SNES. It’s actually one of my favorite soundtracks of all time because of all the emotion and heart poured into creating the score. Although I am not big into the Elder Scroll games, I would LOVE to get my hands on this soundtrack as it’s also signed by Jeremy! I’m really curious how the soundtrack is for the game.

Second auction is submitted by twobrothers 29 (thanks guys!). It’s for an original Resident Evil Standee for the PC. Now this very rare because a lot of these standees were destroyed over the years so there are quite a few that ever popped up on eBay. I can only think of one other time I’ve seen tyhis standee on eBay and it didn’t end cheap. The pictures might cause a bit of confusion but this isn’t a “full sized” standee. It’s also not a “table-top standee” so it’s in the middle. It’s just about a half size of a full standee you see in the store which means it is still big. Now the reason why this standee might not sell for the asking price is because this is for the “PC” version of the game, not the PlayStation version which certainly plays a role in the value of the piece. I have to say, the standee is still in amazing shape for it’s time and I would definitely love to have this in my collection. The auctions definitely worth a stop.

This Friday Dec 9th at 12pm EST, Clan of the Gray Wolf.com will be broadcasting a 60 hour gaming marathon to benefit the American Cancer Society! Their goal is $10,000 and they will be playing games from the bizarre CD-i library for the duration. Though some of the games are known to be some of the worst in the world, there are also some good ones in there. You can donate now if you like. It’s for a great cause people…

Ethan Van Sciver Ryu Sketch - Ethan Van Sciver is a known DC comic artist but he has also done some X-Men work as well. This drawing of Ryu from Street Fighter was made by request. It’s a unique interpretation of a character Ethan wouldn’t normally draw.

Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt Signed by Shigeru Miyamoto - The most common game in the world suddenly made valuable with the stroke of a pen!

Pikmin Big Pillow Plush - This plush is huge. It’s measures out to a bit less than 3 feet tall.

Street Fighter IV Fleece Blanket - I don’t know why this makes me laugh because it’s actually probably very comfortable.

Donkey Kong Country Returns Banana Controller Pouch - This promo is beginning to thin out on eBay so pick one up while you can!

Final Fantasy VI Moogle Hand Towel - This hand towel is no doubt very uncommon, but the price is still high. Send the seller an offer and see what happens.

Sega Dreamcast Casio Portable TV - There was once a point program for Dreamcast items called the Dreampoint program. There were many items available but this portable TV is one of the most unique I’ve come across.

Resident Evil 2 Standee - There’s a bit of damage which should lower the price more than the seller has it up for.

Onimusha 3 Soul Controller - Wtf… I’ve seen some weird controllers before but this has got to be the most awkward looking. I’ve never used it before, but it has got to make controlling the game tougher than it normally is without it! Still, it would look pretty awesome on display.

There are some great limited items here today that many people missed out on when they were released. There’s also a PC game from the late 90′s that I’ve included just for the story behind it. This game was so deeply involved in blurring reality with the game itself that some stores refused to sell it and after the terrible events of 9/11, the game’s monthly online service was stopped. When you play the game, you talk to other people over AOL, look for clues, “hack” your way into finding information, and try to figure out what is going on. The most shocking feature would be that the game… could call you at home. You could get a random phone call with someone screaming and begging you for help right before they get cut off. How messed up is that!?

Majestic - It may not exactly be rare, but the story is awesome.

Tron Limited Blue Xbox 360 Controller (#285 of 336) - There is a Clu version of this controller, but this classic blue in my opinion is the better choice. There are only 336 of them out there.

Resident Evil Mercenaries 3DS Limited System Case (#10 of 1,000) - This is a plastic casing that fits around a Nintendo 3DS and was only available through making a pre-order for the game. There were only 1,000 released and this auction is for #10.

Mega Bloks Blizzcon Limited Starcraft II Battlecruiser (#1,838 of 3,000) - The seller of this item actually has 3 of these. They are selling #1838, 1839, and 1840.

God of War 3 Limited Blades of Athena Keychain - I’m actually looking for a new keychain right now. If I was a bigger fan of the series, I would have bought one of these already. The seller has 4 left and has already sold 13 others.

Thrustmaster Limited Ferrari PC PS3 Controller - This controller is supposed to be limited and numbered, but I haven’t been able to track down how many were made or even if they were numbered at all. It’s a very classy look and includes all kinds of features. Check out the auction for more info.

Dreamcast Poster - This poster is just sad… It really shows how rough Sega had it during their push for the Dreamcast. There aren’t any tears or tape, but it’s still in pretty bad shape. It looks like water damage on the bottom edge.

Call of Duty Elite Beta Wall Cling - Wow, this thing is huge. It’s 48″ x 45″ and could be an amazing addition to almost any game room.

Vintage Resident Evil 2 T-Shirt - RE2, to me, was the best in the series so this t-shirt is very appealing. It wouldn’t fit me, but I’m not sure if I would wear it if it did. It looks as though it wouldn’t make it through too many washes.

There are times when I know I will post something and I will be very confident that I’ll get a *wow here and there and this is one of those items. Someone decided to gather up a BUNCH of video game cartidges from the NES, SNES, Game Boy, N64 and to create Samus from Metroid. Ingenious and of course this is fan made but it’s one of those auctions you can truly appreciate.

Just imagine how much time it took just to put the carts together to get “a shape” of Samus (notably a classic stance), and then to color everything. what a headache! But if art is your passion then this was done with pleasure. It’s an incredible piece thats 5.5 feet wide and 4 feet tall! The whole things weighs 150 lbs! So my only concern is how will the seller ship this? I mean if it happens to be within the US then perhaps it’s doable but anywhere else is taking a risk. Real cool auction.

A Statue that is over 6 FT tall. (Dimensions 35x48x77), I’m not sure of the actual weight but one person can move it across a floor pretty easy. With a hand truck a single person can move it wherever its needed.This is an Official Microsoft HALO 2 promotional Item that was available via distribution channels like D and H or Ingram. Its great for a video game store or a home arcade. Just imagine the presence this statue will demand when anyone walks into the room. Atari 2600 Pitfall 1 and 2 Signed by David Crane - This was signed at the Classic Gaming Expo! Seller was fortunate enough to meet and greet David Crane at one of the CG Expos several years ago and had him sign both carts.
Vintage Sega Store Display Florescent Sonic Light – This is a great price for this vintage Sega store display. I really want one of these just because it looks very nice in the dark all lit up. This display has some wear on it which is turning me off, but if you don’t mind the little flaws the auction’s at a great price of $39.99!
Vintage Super Nintendo Light up Hanging Metal Store Display – “Vintage Nintendo Light up Hanging Metal Store Display. This item is large and very heavy. It measures 13″ high by 37″ long by 7″ wide. The case is metal and it has a rusty chain, one on each side of the top for hanging. The back panel is a thick type of plastic that says Super Nintendo and also lights up(shown in pic). The front of the box, the lights are some type of glass tubing. This item needs to be cleaned, it is very dusty, other than the dust it is in very good condition, lights right up and nothing seems to be broken or missing on it. As for the weight, I am just guessing, 30 pounds maybe? I will add the exact weight later today.”
