VGA managed to set up an interview with Video Game Hall of Famer and Video Game Player of the Century, Billy Mitchell. This is a very rare chance to actually hear from Bill himself on gaming because he does not normally do interviews anymore. He kindly made an exception for VGA. Below you will find the unedited phone interview! Included are a view videos highlighting some of the topics we talked about.

Apologies for the sound quality but, believe it or not, I was able to clean it up a great deal from the original recording. Enjoy everyone and take notes! These are words from a gaming legend.

Amazing interview Akira! But ask tougher questions next time!

Bill is such a class act and It’s an honour to have him on the site. Creating an audio version of the interview made it much more interesting. I love his story about the Namco engineers! That’s HILARIOUS! It just goes to show you that when you’re good enough to beat the creators of the new Pac Man game, you’ve pretty much done it all! The questions were very interesting since most of them were never asked before so I learnt a lot more about Billy Mitchell than I have in the past. I have to say, Bill’s response to why he doesn’t do interviews anymore is just simply amazing…
