The majority of today’s auctions are for promo items, but I’ve included a few other gems that everyone may want to check out. The Club Nintendo item you will find below is very interesting because it’s not the typical Mario figure, pin, statue, etc. You’ll see what I mean…

Metal Gear Solid 2 Poster - The title on the poster is printed in stylish silver foil. The seller has it framed in the picture, but the frame is not included in the buy.

Tomb Raider Pewter Figure - This sloppy rushed looking blister pack contains a pewter figurine of Lara Croft. Keep in mind that this is a very early item in the Tomb Raider series.

Crash Bandicoot Plush - The Playstation mascot (once upon a time) in plush form! It’s a great addition to any Playstation collection.

Zelda Twillight Princess Coin - This promo was given out at ComicCon 2005. The seller mentions only 5,000 were made. The quality is amazing.

Sweet Tooth Mask - Likely due to the upcoming new entry in the Twisted Metal series, this auction has been getting some attention. The bids are stacking up.

Pac-Man Bed Sheets - Very interesting to see the color on these sheets last so long. Oddly, there’s no buy now price.

Invasion of Nintendo VHS - Ok, yes… the price is beyond crazy. The tape is rare and normally found in poor condition. You can make an offer and hope the seller will realize that they aren’t holding the holy grail of promos lol. If you just want to watch it, you can find it on YouTube.

Pac-Man Flying Disk - A great unused Pac-Man frisbee still in it’s original packaging! The price is good too.

Nintendo Banner - Here’s something to add to most any game room. The banner is four feet long and is in great shape.

Centipede Original Promos - Wow, it’s very rare to see related promos this old being sold together like this. This is an instant buy for many classic arcade gamers.

Pac-Man Plush - This plush is an official Namco item but it’s not from the easy years of Pac-Man. The tag shows it’s from 1991. Also, it looks like it’s been through the washer and dryer a couple times. The price isn’t terrible, but still too high.

Club Nintendo Star Tenbillion - Here is a unique hand held puzzle from Nintendo that turns the idea of a Rubik’s cube inside out. The goal is to get all of the matching colored beads in the same tube. Check it out…

There’s a seller on eBay right now who’s selling off some amazing Mortal Kombat collectibles. Nearly every one of their auctions already has a bid and many are starting out way lower than the actual value of the items. There are a few I’ve seen before and a couple that cannot be believed! If you’re a fan of the Mortal Kombat series, I promise you these items will spark your interest.

Mortal Kombat Sub Zero Blue Clear Test Figure – 5 MADE! - This is about as rare as it gets to action figures. This is one of five clear blue plastic prototype figures of Sub Zero. Bids are starting to stack up but there’s plenty of time left.

Mortal Kombat Live Tour Hand Held Audience Light - This light is something audience members of the Mortal Kombat Live Tour would hold up from the darkness to show their numbers. It’s very rare and a unique collectible.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero VHS Sealed - Remember when they decided to make a Mortal Kombat adventure game featuring Sub Zero? Man, I have no idea why they decided to do that. Still, it’s part of MK history and this sealed VHS shows behind the scenes footage.

Mortal Kombat Logo Sunglasses - One of the most famous pair of sunglasses in the world of video games would have to be Johnny Cage’s. If you play best as Cage the ego-maniac, maybe these shades would interest you.

Mortal Kombat Sculpted Coins (2) - This set of collectible coins are still factory sealed. One features Baraka and the other; Shao Kahn. They are quite rare when it comes to MK collectibles.

Mortal Kombat 18k Gold Plated POG Slammer - Want to play POG in style? How about this gold plated Mortal Kombat logo slammer! It’s still factory sealed as well.

What makes video game items from Japan so desirable is the fact that you can only get them from Japan, which heightens the rarity for these commodities. However, in the new age, there are sellers on eBay, and deputy services that aid you in your search for rare video game collectibles. There are more collectors turning to Japanese items to build their collection since some of the coolest video game related items are from there!

I’m pretty sure most of you can agree with me on this topic, but for those who cannot comprehend, let me show you some items specifically from a Japanese eBay seller named sonkirihayameni. Now just a heads up, don’t be surprised if they don’t answer your questions. I’ve never had a response from them when I sent questions, so there is no price negotiation.

1). The Legend of Zelda VHS Promo for Gameboy – Well there’s not too much mentioned in the auctions “description” but I am guessing this is for “Link’s Awakening” since it has the “Gameboy” logo and only that. I would love to see whats on here!

2).Final Fantasy Plush Lot Squaresoft – Nice Final Fantasy 9 plush set which includes an official Square bag!

4).Legend of Zelda 2 Game Novel Book – I love the art work on this book! Official LOZ 2 Novel book from Japan. Decent price at $26.40!

5).Legend of Zelda Sound Calculator by Banpresto – Haven’t seen one of these on Yahoo Japan for a while. Whats awesome about this calculator is that it makes noise. The best part is when you push the “equal” button it makes the surprise dungeon discovery noise

6).Kingdom Hearts 2 Promo Mini Keychains – Size of each keychain is 1 inches so don’t be fooled by the pic, the display is actually quite small!

7).Final Fantasy 7 Shinra Company Staff Card – I don’t know why Squaresoft at their peak didn’t make these cards. Awesome FF collectible just because of the significance of these cards in the game…

8). Final Fantasy Job Change Figure Complete Set – Nice Final Fantasy character collection from the original game.

9).Sega Sonic 2 Hedgehog Promo VHS Video – Another VHS promo but for Sonic the Hedgehog 2! I really like these types of items from Japan because they hold a lot of mystic behind them. Decent price for $34.50

10).Legend of Mana Rabi Necklace Gold Figure

Hey all! I don’t have time to make a solid post, but I thought I would list some of the auctions on my watch list that are ending soon. It’s a mixture of neat things including a nice factory sealed Castlevania Symphony of the Night Japan Import which comes from Spain! You also have a couple of Nintendo World Championship shirts, although it’s always tough to tell if they are original or not. I would need to do some concrete research to gather up all the evidence that points to authentic NWC shirts since many are being reproduced now.

1). Marvel Vs. Capcom – War Machine Vs. Mega Man 1999 ToyBiz – 10% of funds will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. This ToyBiz series is very hard to find, specifically this model.

2). Lost Planet 2 SDCC Exclusive Salamander Plush 16″ Brand New – Here for auction is a rare SDCC exclusive Salamander Plush from the video game Lost Planet 2. This salamander is still in it’s vacuum pack! It’s never been opened! This plush was sooooo hard to get, but it’s available now at a no reserve .99 auction! Currently, this is one of few on eBay!

3). You have a couple of Nintendo World Championship shirts here and here!

4). Castlevania Symphony of the Night Sealed Japanese Version – The US version fetches around $500+ on regular auction, I wonder how it’s Japanese counter-part does…

6). E.T. Atari Game Video Store Display Mobile 1982 Sealed – When I saw this I was in awe. Seller says: “Sealed 1982 E.T. Atari Game Video Store Display Mobile in a package; It is in excellent condition; measures 18″X14″ and 14″X14.5″; features double sided; comes with instruction. A Must For a E.T. or Atari Fan”… Indeed!
