Today’s post is submitted by Frank (Thanks Frank!). Pinball’s are definitely not in the same league as Video Games per say, but it is in the same ball park as the entertainment and joy that video games gives us hence I will discuss the pinball on auction.

The great Pinball’s of our age come from companies like Bally and Williams. There are other companies that have produced decent Pinball’s but nothing compares to these giants. With that said Pinball sales were declining in the mid to end of the 90s. The last pinball Williams made was Cactus Canyon. This is the reason is demands a high price. There are two Cactus Canyons on eBay currently for over $15,000. This one is on auction.

I hope you VGA readers are having a nice, relaxing Sunday morning. Today I have some interesting items on my watch list that I’ll share with you. I’m a big fan of signed stuff from creators of certain games so I have a couple of auctions like that. I also have a rare Japanese import for the n64, “Puyo Puyo N Party 4″.

First auction I will talk about is the Puyo Puyo N Party 4. The game is already at $300 with 3 days left. Why is it rare? According to the seller about 500 copies were made. But this sort of statement needs to be looked further into, especially when he said “and I herd 500 copies were made”, he spelled heard wrong lol so I need to see the validity of his statement and hearsay isn’t enough. So I did a search and couldn’t find the exact amount of copies released. Although reading from numerous gaming sites it is a rare game, production must have been low, they don’t easily show up in Japan. With that said we can trust the gaming community based on the demand and the demand says $300 with 3 days left.

Other Video Game Auctions:

- Final Fantasy X Sealed (JPN) and OST Signed: The cd is signed by Uematsu which is always nice. He signed it on the cover and one cd. The cost is $240, a little high but you do get both sealed game and OST signed.

- Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Signed: Signed of course by Kojima, and the price? $350 beans. Although Kojima’s autograph is as common now as toilet paper, I still find it intriguing, the man behind Metal Gear. It doesn’t seem to get old, and I don’t know what Kojima hasn’t signed on? Maybe a women’s breast but even that I’m sure he’s done.

- Bayonetta Scarborough Fair Replica Gun: It’s on auction for $70 with 16 hrs left. Not bad as only 1200 were released and this is in great shape with box.

- Nintendo Game & Watch “Fire”: Geesh these go for a lot. I’m not into the whole G&W thing but they still hold value after all these years. A good investment for sure.

- Rare Vintage 80′s Handheld CASIO MG88O Game Calculator: An interested buyer shows off his retro calculator skills by asking a question only a calculator expert would ask:

The first auction is for an extremely rare Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit EA Crew edition for the PC. Only one copy was given to each EA employee in December 2010. This is still brand new and includes:

Other Video Game Auctions :

- Burger Time Deluxe: Seller says it’s the RAREST gameboy game. I wouldn’t spend that much on it.

- Commodore Amiga 4000/040 Computer:  Comes boxed with mouse and keyboard, extremely rare and desirable for any Amiga collector.

- Sega Game Gear Special Pack Honda Verno:  It’s a complete package for the Game Gear, just in a “package”. Comes with Antenna, power supply, Game Gear etc…

- Bandai Champion Racer: This is a little neat retro racer from Japan. It comes brand new and starting at $179.

- Legend of Zelda Parallel Worlds : This is a hack and just put into cart form. Still interesting to play never the less, but this seller wants $150 for it. You can always download the hack yourself. It’s obviously unofficial so no need to explain.

- Super Nintendo Kiosk:WOw this is in incredible shape! Comes complete. I would love to have this in my game room.

Good afternoon VGA readers!  I have some cool auctions up today including a really funny looking Chocobo doll, Gears of War face plates and more.

Let’s begin shall we?

The first auction is for a custom made Final Fantasy Chocobo figure. It’s made by the Underland Workshop who specialize in making figures and sculpts. It’s a nice looking and detailed sculpt but a little funny looking at first, I couldn’t help but laugh. The seller is in the U.K so expect to pay a fair amount for this. Auction is at $224.

The next item is a Final Fantasy VII Cloud & Chocobo clock.I’ve seen these sell before. I once seen it as high as $799 (Not sold obviously!) and as low as $40. It’s not common, but it’s not rare. It was part of the Final Fantasy VII puzzle product line in 1997. This is the only one of it’s kind that turns into a clock. Anyways the seller who’s in the U.K is selling it for pretty high. To put this specific clock further in the shadows it’s missing two key elements to make it a desired collectible. First it’s missing the box, any item that’s missing a box loses it’s appeal. Second it doesn’t even have the “seconds” hand. It’s suppose to be red. Big flaw there. Should I tell the seller? I don’t know, I would hate to be the one to blow out his candle. But I’m sure he’s honest and sincere and doesn’t know how the complete clock looks like. That or he’s playing clueless like a blond.

- Commodore Amiga Cd 32 in Box: I’m not big on Vintage consoles but this is pretty rare!

- Atari 2600 Mystique Custers Revenge: This company is just classic. The seller seems to have several of these “porn” games.

- UFO Invasion Game Watch: It’s a two level game, cool for a watch from 1980.

- Zelda Philips CDi 3 CDs: All 3 titles on auction, good price!

- Final Fantasy VII Creatures Gold: Released in 1999, only 300 were made for winners. It’s by Square-enix.

Good morning VGA readers. Today’s auctions are found by our good friend Joseph. A seller in the U.S has a massive stock of Japanese video game related items from consoles to rare games. I’m going to feature a few of these items here but if you really want to get an idea of what he has, maybe you’ll find something that suits your specific interest. You can visit his listings here.

First auction is for a new JP Pioneer Laseractive System and Pc Engine Mega Sega. The Pioneer CLD-A100 system was released in Japan on August 20, 1993 at a cost of ¥89,800 and in the United States on September 13, 1993 at a cost of $970 US. NEC also released a cloned version of the system identified as the NEC PDE-LD1. Both systems supported the additional PAC modules interchangeably. Read more by checking out the auction.

The next auction Boxed Import Panasonic Q GameCube All Regions DVD Bonus. The first time I saw this in person I really thought it was custom made until I found out what is was. This was over 5 years ago. This is a Nintendo Game cube that combines a Panasonic DVD player into one. At the time it was an idea being capatalized off the Playstation 2. When you compare the Panasonic Q to a Gamecube there are very little differences, however the Panasonic Q does have superior sound quality. This auction will not end cheap.

The Nintendo Entertainment System, where dreams become reality, where stories leave you with fantasies.  So much can be said about a small little console that originated from Japan, the Famicom(Japanese). The North American birth of the NES was Oct 18, 1985 and made it’s debut in New York City. For many this is where it all started, for others it was Atari and so on. It’s hard to imagine starting off gaming with a “Game Cube” or “Playstation 3″. For those who were lucky enough to be born in what I call the “Gaming Generation” can appreciate every console with every gain in technology. Now there was a whole gaming history prior to the NES  but I’m focusing on just the NES itself, besides, the NES had it all, great graphics, great music, great titles and of course great stories. One site that I enjoy surfing is NESplayer.com simply because Mike, the creator, has put together an NES Empire of nostaliga which no site can compete with. There’s tons of content on the site, you can basically spend hours alone on there. Check it out!

Another site which I find just awesome is VirtualNES. This is a site that allows you to play classic Nintendo Games and imported games for free online. How cool is that? It might not have every copy as they’re only allowed to put up games that they have a cartridge for(legal reasons people). Never the less it worth checking out.

Whenever I have free time I enjoy the occasional online game created by fans or game designers. Two great sites I like to play on are Game Ninja and Round Games. They have fun custom mario games, great shooter games and a whole lot of other original titles. Whether your at school or at the office, you need to check these sites out.

We here at VGA believe in only displaying official items. At times we can display something that was custom made or unofficial simply because of price or art and this will be mentioned but when it comes to costumes, unless the person is a professional, it’s beter to be listing official items which are regulated, made to fit and so on.

Halloween is coming up an people will be looking for costumes from their favorite games. Unfortunately eBay doesn’t have a huge selection of masks but they’re still decent options as officially liscensed video game costumes are hard to find. You can easily find your specific costumes on the thousands of costume sites on the net, but nothing compares to eBay reliability and quality.

Good morning VGA readers! I thought I’d make a post dedicate to displays and standees. Nothing looks nicer in your game room then a Standee of a game that’s hot or your personal favorite. I have at least 10+ standees, at least 6 are on display. It gives the game room and atmosphere, an ambience, a feeling that you’re surrounded by a different world other then the one we live in. What’s the point of a game room? People have different meanings but I can tell you for me it’s a place to escape to, a world full of magic and immagination. Nothing beats coming home after a hard days work an just sitting down observing the sanctuary you created while listening to one of your favorite game soundtracks.

Here are some standees you might consider buying:

NINTENDO PACK W/ 11 BRAND NEW GAMES!! CHRONO TRIGGER! This is a weird sealed game auction. The only two games that are decent are defects? Chrono trigger is opened but smells like new? Mega Man has a dent on the front? $1100 buy it now?

LucasArts SECRET MONKEY ISLAND Special Edition buttonThe thing about this button is it’s official. You could have bought the whole set from the Lucas Arts website store for $12. The thing is these look VERY cheap, I know since I bought a set myself. If I won this and it came to my house I would ask for a refund because it looks fake, cheap, as if hand made(which they are). Cool thing is it’s official, bad thing is it’s cheap. Lucas Arts failed on this one.
