Here are a list of links that definitely need a visit. Some of the links are for pure entertainment while others are excellent resources for your gaming needs….

1).
Video Game Memorabilia Museum is one of VGA’s favorite sites. A site dedicated to gaming merchandise & swag, you get a complete comprehensive guide to the world of video games. One of my favorite parts to the site is “the HORDE collection shots”; you get to see what other gamers collect! VGMM also has a forum of rich quality to ensure that your gaming questions gets answered, and to participate in every day gaming convo! This forum friendly site should definitely be bookmarked.

2).
PlayStation Museum is the culmination of years of research and dedication to the Sony PlayStation and is intended to provide images and information in all areas. If you want to know everything about PlayStation, this is your #1 source. My favorite part of the site is the “Hardware” section. You get to see everything that’s ever been made by PS! This site should definitely be bookmarked if you haven’t already!

3).
Warner’s Retro Corner is a website that specializes in retro and vintage games and consoles from all eras of gaming including many rare imports. The site provides a modding customization service of most consoles and peripherals. They also have stock reproduction and unreleased games and will be importing many rare prototypes and unreleased software(you can buy direct from there). Warner’s Corner is also an established eBay shop that has dealt in vintage and rare gaming for over 10yrs. It’s great to have site’s like this with vast knowledge on vintage gaming. Drop by their site!

4).
Twin Galaxies Walter Day built the Twin Galaxies scoreboard decades ago and to this day people slave over becoming the best in the world; to be recognized by Twin Galaxies. If you have seen the movie King of Kong, you know what I am talking about. If you haven’t… I strongly suggest you do!

5).
Corpsetech.com is a website about Computer Repair, Console Repair, Modding and “How to’s” for computers and consoles. The folks at Corpse Tech also host monthly modding contests so if you’re into modding you should swing by and give it a shot! There is also a nice interactive forum in which you can ask questions, give a helpful hand and participate in everyday gaming convo! Check them out!

6).
Replacement Doc For those familiar with ROM downloads (which by the way is illegal unless you own the cart), you will quickly notice that some new-to-you games are unplayable because you have no idea what’s going on… at the same time, people who pick up various old games they own which they no longer own the manual for are wondering what they are supposed to do… Replacementdocs.com ends this with perfect scans of old game manuals in .pdf format for all to download. The power of the games given back to the gamer and gaming begins anew…

7).
Angry Video Game Nerd Internet history was made when James Rolfe invented the Angry Nintendo Nerd to show the flaws in some NES games we all know and remember… he did not however forsee where this was going… the “ANN” evolved into the “Angry Vido Game Nerd” and a phenomenon began… AVGN to this day serves as a forum for all pissed gamers who, at a time, felt scammed by the maketing for a sh$%*y game.

8).
World of Long Plays Once upon a time in the 80′s, I imagined a television channel that showed nothing but people playing videogames. To be able to sit back and judge the gameplay styling of the world in the comfort of your home… to admire the skill of those who can see the game to the end… This experience is real… this is Longplays.org.

9).
Game Faqs Everyone has written passwords down through the age of 8 bit and 16 bit systems to continue their progress in a game. From this tradible knowledge came “cheating” and the classic “Game Genie”. Gamefaqs.com is the modern playground that trades knowledge of glitches, cheats, passwords, and walkthoughs to boost those who are stuck and crave that single step forward…

10).
GameSpot Hype fuels sales of most modern games… to those who don’t buy into this instantly, reviews are read in detail. Gamespot offers a fair view on all new games and the final decision is left to the gamer… read, learn, decide, and then…… game.

11).
GrumpyGamer is one of Kenji’s favorite sites. Ron Gilbert, the creator of Monkey Island, and Maniac Mansion has his own website which is Ron’s often incoherent and bitter ramblings about the Game Industry. Come join him on his interpretation of the game industry. I find myself on his blog for hours because it’s so interesting. He’s quite the character.
