Candy Crush Account for $5k, Last of Us Collector Art Cards and More!

Good morning VGA readers. A couple of auctions to throw your day for today. Take a look at the Candy Crush account for $5k+ on eBay, I don’t get how useful that would be to buy it, maybe someone can enlighten me, but I can bet you that the seller spent a pretty penny to get that account that high. If you don’t know, app companies like King deliberately develop their apps so you HAVE NO CHOICE but to buy in-app to move on at a certain stage of the game. They take advantage of the addictive nature of people and exploit this weakness by creating shiny games (which in my opinion suck anyways) with in-app purchases. There will eventually be some sort of regulation, but don’t be fooled by the in-app purchase. If you feel the need to buy something in-app, then you’re in dangerous water.

You actually don’t have to spend any money in Candy Crush. You can and make the game easier, but you don’t have to. Anybody addicted enough, and has 5 grand to blow, seriously needs help.

You’re right, you don’t have to, but I have only heard the same thing over and over again. In order to go further in the game, they make it impossible to move on unless you buy in-app, similar to Bubble Witch Saga 2 where you need to purchase bubbles because at a certain level, they give you the same bubbles over and over so there’s no way to move on unless you buy.
