When looking over the items I’m listing today, a question comes to mind. Club Nintendo continues to put out collectible after collectible for members to grab using their points/coins and people go nuts for nearly every item. The question is, why is Nintendo the only company to figure this out? Nintendo of course uses their own hardware for their titles and they have a deeper history, but what about other companies with major titles like Konami, Capcom, Square-Enix, etc? Imagine a never for sale limited Mega Man statue only available to Club Capcom Platinum members for a price of 200,000 member points! Oh well, I guess we will just have to live with the limited items that are bought and sold through distributors.
Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary Badge Collection – As you can see from the picture below this set comes in six long boxes which, when stacked in the right order, create an 8-bit imagine of Mario on the back! This item was only available to Platinum Club Nintendo members.
Club Nintendo Mario Hanafuda Cards – Another Club Nintendo item, this set of Hanafuda cards feature Nintendo images on each card. Ever play Hanafuda? Nither have I! lol… Hanafuda is an old card game played mostly in Japan.
World of Nintendo Neon Sign – This is the perfect highlight to any Nintendo collection. I’ve seen more than a few Nintendo neon signs, but this is the best I’ve seen by far.
Metal Gear Solid 2 Premium Package – Here’s the limited premium package release of Metal Gear Solid 2. Every extra item included (DVD, figure, and Chonicle book) are great additions to be packaged with the game. Please note that this is a Japanese release.
