Here’s some more great auctions to show you today. Also, another NWC Cart popped up on eBay with a lower buy-it-now and “best-offer”. It is me or are collectibles in general going down in price? I mean there are exceptions but I’ve been seeing recent items that use to fetch for a lot of money and now are clearing the half way mark. I guess this isn’t “Collector’s Season” hehe.
First item is a rare Dragon Warrior II Mail In Map. I hope I am correct on this, but I believe this is the map (backside of map) that you got back after mailing it in. If I am wrong you may strike a lightning bolt on me, but I’m pretty sure I’m dead on. Only the seller can shed light on this matter.
Anyhow, DW collectors look for this map quite often and I’m certain the bid will increase in the dying moments. Not the easiest thing to find that’s for sure. If there is anyone who knows about the details of the mail-in please comment! It would be nice to fill in the void.
Other Video Game Auctions:
Nintendo World Championships Grey Cart 1990 #185 – “This auction is for the Ultra Rare World Championships 1990 NES Nintendo Grey Game Cartridge. This cartridge is in Near Mint Condition. I believe it is one of the nicest ones out there. I have owned this for many years and it has only been put in a System twice. The first time when I originally purchased it and the second was the day before I posted this auction. It has been in my collection and very well taken care of. For those of you who do not know these were never available for purchase. Nintendo held a World Championship and 90 of the Grey Cartridges were made and handed out to the City Finalists. Of the 90 that were made only 26 are know to still exist and this is one of them. The only one that is more valuable is the Gold Version of this game. This cartridge is in excellent physical and mechanical condition. To test this cartridge before the listing I actually opened a NOS Nintendo and played it in that. I did not want to put it into an old machine and cause damage or dirty the cartridge. In the past these have sold for as low as $2000 in 96 and the label was completely torn off to $10,000 in 2007 which had one small fold on the label in the top corner where the label started to lift. I also know of one that brought $6500 that had tape across the top of the label. Like I said before this is one of the nicest if not the nicest ones out there. This is definately a prize piece for your collection. I hate to see it go but it is time someone else to enjoy it. I would prefer to do a local pick up but I will ship this. I will have it fully insured and well packed.”
The Legend Of Zelda Painting – obviously not official, but still pretty neat for something different
Conker Live & Reloaded PROMO Tank & Plush – “”Comes with a laminate “Dirty Dozen” Conker. Tank is cardboard”.
Nintendo Game Boy Advanced SP Groudon – limited to only 1000. this auction is for a brand new one. This item was available in the Pokemon Center in japan.
Dead Rising 2 Life Size Zombie – the zombies back! His name is Burt btw :). Don’t know why Capcom choose Burt out of all names, meh. Seller says, “Here is what I know, or I have been told, there are only a couple of these in existence, one was given away with the upgraded version of the game, it cost around $100 for that version, If you collected a golden ticket you won “Burt the Zombie” the other was given away at a Game Stop all Managers meeting in Las Vegas, just so happens the manager in this area won it, I bought “Burt” from him personally, “Burt” stands around 6ft tall, he is attached to a Poker Chip some of the green pieces on the poker chip were re-glued, overall excellent condition, no scratches or flaws, look at the pictures he is very realistic, and fun character to take pics with, everyone in town loves it, I own a tattoo shop and just need the space back, so I figured I’d get rid of him!! He breaks apart at the arms, legs, torso, and off the poker chip, very sturdy and super detailed, he scared me for like a week in the shop after getting him lol, Like I said this is a 1 of 2 in existence type of deal“.
Free Fall NES unreleased Color Dreams Death Race Prototype – It’s always nice when a seller adds a description for something we don’t know too much about. “This the case which (presumably) originally housed a copy of the unreleased Color Dreams game Free Fall, which later went through a graphics change and became Fish Fall, one of three games on Wisdom Tree’s Sunday Funday cartridge for the NES. Unfortunately, sometime between 1992 and now, the circuit board containing Free Fall became misplaced and a circuit board containing the game from Death Race, produced by another unlicensed game company American Game Cartridges Inc, ended up in this case.”
Akalabeth: World of Doom Ultima 0 Apple II – “This is one of the rarest and most desirable role-playing games in existence. It was the first commercial release by Richard Gariott of Origin Systems fame, and many of the concepts that would form Ultima were on first display here.”
Sony PlayStation Promo Video Game Bumper Sticker – Finally! A bumper sticker worth putting on your *second-hand* car *lol*.
Sega Dreamcast – Retail Display with System – pretty cheap compared to what they normally go for.
