Many games are released in many different versions these days (limited, ultimate, elite, super-duper edition, etc) but it’s the behind the scenes “not for sale” editions that really catch my attention. There’s a version of Metal Gear Solid 2 for example that was given only to select Konami shareholders. This is difficult to find but one of them has popped up on eBay.
Metal Gear Solid 2 Corporate Bond Version – The complete package given to the shareholders I’ve heard included a magazine along with a message card from Konami. Those items are missing here (the case for most owners of these I’m sure) but the game itself is still sealed. This is an impressive edition of the game which is missing from many MGS collections out there.
Here are a few more auctions for today…
The Legend of Zelda Symphony of the Goddesses Poster – This show is actually passing through my way next week and I can’t get out of work to go see it! Damn the responsibilities that come with living in the real world!… Well, I’m sure it’s going to be a great show and I would have picked up one of these posters for sure if I had a ticket.
Pac-Man Eraser Set – These are some of those erasers that fit on the back of pencils. They have stood the test of time and remain unused.
Little Big Planet 2 Zipper T-Shirt – Hard to miss someone wearing this… But then, I guess that’s the idea. 😉
The last few items are Super Mario figures from a series of toys I have a vague memory of. Not sure how many there were though.
