Properly Priced VGA Graded Games, Metal Gear Promos, and a Texas Instruments TI-99/4A

An unfortunate problem on eBay these days (and for some time now as many of you know very well) are insane prices put on sealed games that have been graded by the Video Game Authority. It’s something I welcome people to complain about even if it’s in the comments on this site right here, lol. The more the opinion spreads that the increase in value for a gold graded game is not 10 times the value of the game ungraded, maybe more sellers will calm their buy it now prices a bit. Head-scratching crazy prices will not be found here today however because the graded games you will find are actually selling to the highest bidder with low starting bids. These auctions were brought to our attention by Esteban. Thanks! I’ve been overlooking graded games these days.

Before we get to those however, here are some other interesting auctions:

Texas Instruments TI-99 4A with Manuals and Games – No bids on this auction yet but there’s a reserve in there… hmm. This is a home computer from the early 80’s and the manuals are included as well as some games, a voice synthesizer, and four joysticks.

Kirby 20th Anniversary Medal – An attractive Club Nintendo item. No bids yet and no reserve!

Penny Arcade Limited Cel – Out of print from 2005. Pretty nice for Penny Arcade fans.

The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past Sign – This cardboard sign of Link is double sided and is quite large. It stands nearly 4.5 feet tall. This auction submitted by Thessalya (thanks). Note: there is some water damage on the end of Link’s sword.

Next up are a few Metal Gear promos. Not all MGS however…

Metal Gear Solid 3 Zippo – A nice Zippo and the case is included.

Hideo Kojima Postcard – This one is a little strange. It’s a postcard promo showing Hideo Kojima exiting a trailer. This is a MGS3 promo.

Metal Gear 2 Business Card – At first glance I thought, “Hey, nice, a Metal Gear 2 promo that pre-dates Metal Gear Solid”. But, if you look a little closer you will see ‘2004’. Metal Gear 2 was released on mobile devices in 2004 I believe. Oh well, it’s still a nice promo. It even has Snake’s email address on it, lol.

Here are the graded games on auction that I mentioned above! Bids are already rolling…

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time VGA Graded 80

The Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask VGA Graded 85

Metal Gear Solid (Black Label) VGA Graded 90

The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Seasons VGA Graded 85

Final Fantasy Legend III VGA Graded 85+
