Super Smash Bros Brawl Tournament Mario Swarovski Crystal Wii Grand Prize

Back in 2008 a Nintendo backed Super Smash Bros Brawl tournament took place and the prize given to the grand champion was a crystal encrusted Nintendo Wii. It was one of only two ever made and it is now on eBay for one wealthy gaming collector. The other crystal Wii which had a Zelda design was sold to an anonymous buyer in 2011. If you have the cash you can be the only other owner on the planet.

What is interesting about the Samus poster is that they are notorious for having wear spots at the end of the poster. So what this guy did was probably snatch it on auction for $150, sent it to a frame shop, had the edges hidden with “matte” and only exposing the signature/serial, and spiked the price high. It’s smart because who would tear open the frame?

IDK. I’d give him the benefit of the doubt…He did try and describe the corners, etc.

    From the auction:

“Does have tack holes in the corners (covered with the matting), but the colors are bright and edges are in very good condition.”

That would be a pretty big lie to get caught in if things were as you’re suggesting…

Not listed here, however I am auctioning my Famicom Disk System board game. It’s pretty rare, hopefully it will go to a good home. 🙂

Robin that’s true, he did mention it, but because we don’t see it we tend tot hink it’s in perfect shape. But regardless you are right, he does mention it. It’s not like he/she is saying “It’s in mint condition”.

Pyongyang. I’ll post your auction for you. If you ever have other interesting auctions go to our submit page and submit it there.
