First off I would just like to let everyone know that there is a copy of Bubble Bath Babes complete with box and a Myriad 6 in 1 complete with box and manual currently up on eBay. These games are two of the rarest NES games in the world and they normally pop up loose rather than with the original box.
Bubble Bath Babes is one of three “adult” games made for the NES (the others being Hot Slots and Peek-a-Boo Poker). If you really want to have a complete NES collection, you will have to pay up for this one eventually…
Myriad 6 in 1, as many NES collectors know, is actually just a Caltron 6 in 1 cartridge re-labeled and re-packaged by Myriad after they bought the remaining unsold Caltron 6 in 1’s when Caltron went bankrupt. There are probably fewer than 900 out there because each Myriad label is numbered and I haven’t seen any in the 900’s. This complete copy on eBay is # 799.
Now here’s something you may not know about. Ever played a Gizmondo? Well, this handheld system was made by Tiger Telematics and released early 2005. This release went almost entirely unnoticed because it ended up selling less than 25,000 total. This combined with other problems (an executive involved in organized crime!) caused the system to be discontinued and threw the company into bankruptcy in about a year after the system’s release.
This is an obscure item in video game history and will gain value over time due to it’s growing rarity. If this is the kind of thing you would like to, not only play, but file away in your collection, this is the auction for you. This auction includes the system itself complete with the original box AND every single game ever made (all 14). I’ve heard that only 8 of the 14 games were actually released in the U.S. but I’ve also heard that all 14 were available in stores. It’s not something people talk about much, so facts can get fuzzy.
Anyway, to get the Gizmondo and it’s complete library of games check out the auction below! (a protective carry case is also included). Also, a note, this is the “Smart Adds” version which means it was bought for a reduced price which was supposed to have advertisements pop up on the screen every now and then. This pop-up network was never activated, so don’t worry about that lol.
